Dear Parents and Guardians:

It is a great pleasure to announce that the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) is coming to Mount Miguel High School.  PIQE will offer its exciting Nine-Week Parent Involvement Program to the parents and guardians of our students.

High school represents a big transition for parents as well as students, and PIQE addresses six of the most common issues that you and your student will face during this important period in your lives.

These workshops are offered at no cost to parents or guardians.  The program will begin on Thursday, September 27th, 2007 with a planning session.  Additional sessions will be as follows:

These sessions will be held in the evening at 6:30 p.m.   Free childcare will be offered.

The announcement flyer attached displays the topics of each workshop.  If you are interested in attending these workshops, please fill out the form at the bottom of the flyer and have your child return it to his/her teacher.

Please do not miss this opportunity and join PIQE at the orientation/planning session on Thursday, September 27th, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. You are welcome to voice your questions and concerns, and share your ideas about the topics for the nine weeks of sessions ahead.

These workshops will be of great benefit and give you the knowledge to help your child attain a post-secondary education. Minimum class size is 15. Thank you in advance for your participation.
