This week’s words are punctuate, expunge, punctual, puncture, and pungent. The pungent skunk smell punctured the classroom. The odor punctuated how important environment is in learning. It will go to anyone who provides information that leads to the identification of anyone who has damaged our property in any way. If you have information, and want to qualify for the $50 gift certificate, just speak with a campus supervisor, teacher, or administrator. Let’s keep our Matador home looking brand new! This is, after all, Mount Miguel, the proud home of the Matadors! Interact Club There will be a meeting today, at lunch, in Ms. Stamos room. Three rings that were lost a couple weeks ago, in the women’s restroom, were turned into the office. See Ms. Rosio, the VP Secretary to claim them. GRAD Night Tickets..... FIND the principal. Anytime; $100.00.. Selling out... SENIORS Pick up your Jostens' graduation announcements and graduation bling, if you ordered them, in the Finance Office. If you would like to purchase single graduation announcements, the Finance Office has a limited amount for $1.25 each. Choir- Our Choir Band Spring Concert is Tuesday May 25th at 7pm in the Gym. Just $4.00 at the door and 12 and under are free. Come see our award winning music programs performing all their festivals music along with guitar and piano showcasing their talent. If you think you have what it takes and would like to be apart of Choir, band, guitar, and or piano next year, then sign up with your counselor right away before the classes fills up. UCSD TRIO Your college advisor wants you to know that our next Saturday session will be on May 22nd. We will be going to the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla. Space is limited, so you must RSVP as soon as possible. The first 50, from all high schools, will get spots. Let your college advisor know if you are interested! She’s here Monday, Wednesday & Tuesdays, or you can email her. Ladies of F.U.T.U.R.O: We will be having our last meeting of the year this Friday, May 7th, at 3pm in room 229. We will be having a Potluck, and having our last workshop of the school year. There will be free food, so please come and join us! If you are interested in learning more about the F.U.T.U.R.O, you’ll want to come to this meeting. See Ms. Garcia for more information. Want to get ready for next year? You can buy anything for next year right now! That's right! Yearbooks, PE Clothes, ASB cards are all available for purchase right now. You can also use a debit or credit card and go online. Check out the web store and click on 2010/2011 Registration. Summer school applications are now available in the counseling office. Hurry! First come, first serve! ASB applications for the 2010-2011 class are now available, in the Finance office. Completed applications are due in the Finance office by May 12th. Go Matadors! Class of 2011 yearbooks for the 2010-2011 school year are already on sale and you can get yours today! Don’t miss out on the SENIOR SIGNATURE PACKAGE! ATTENTION SENIORS WHO NEED FIRST AID FOR GRADUATION: The May First Aid class session is now full! Sign-ups for the June First Aid class session will be taken by seeing Mr. Hurst or Ms. Murphy in Room 230 or 231. Don't miss it! ATTENTION SENIORS! Did you know that prom is TWO weeks away? We've booked a fantastic DJ and there will be desserts galore! Come dance the night away to some awesome music and snack on everything from, a "make your own" sundae bar, to cookies, brownies, rice krispie treats, apple pie, cheesecake, chocolate cake and chocolate mousse. Tickets are on sale in the finance office every Friday at lunch. Tickets are $60 with an ASB card and $65 without. You must have a completed clearance form in order to purchase your ticket. Clearance forms can be picked up in the finance office. Don't wait until it's too late! Buy your prom ticket this Friday!
